Even the most seasoned health information specialist needs a library of medical transcription resources and references to refer to now and then. Here is a listing of some of the best resources available. TRAININGM-TEC is the first school to be approved by the Approval Committee for Certificate Programs (ACCP), a joint committee established by AHDI and AHIMA for certifying and approving medical transcription education programs. Approval date, August 2005. Becoming an MT - AHDI has specific recommendations for medical transcription educational programs. Make sure your MT training program complies with these standards.
